Hi my name is Michelle and I'll be showing you how to install Open Canvas 1.1 on your computer. Open Canvas 1.1 works on all Windows Operating Systems XP or higher.

 

First, you'll need to download the program. You can download the program from our website at http://opencanvas11.wix.com/opencanvas

 

You'll need to select "Download" and then you have to save the file in a location that you can remember. I recommend the Desktop.

 

Click "Save". And then open the .ZIP file. 

 

Once you've opened the .ZIP file, you need to extract the file to another place that you can remember, so again, I recommend the Desktop.

 

Once you've extracted the file go to the Desktop to launch the program.

 

Double-click on the icon here, and in a moment the program will launch.

 

Okay, so once the program is open you may notice upon first launch that the toolbars aren't actually in English and there is some of these symbols that can't be read.

 

You'll need to change that by clicking the last option on the upper toolbar and then once you've selected that, you can click "English" and it should be rendering correctly. So you should be able to read it. So, "File", "New", "Open", "Exit". All of them should be understandable.

 

Once you've done that, you've installed program and that completely it. You're now ready to get creative!
